Maybe you have an idea for a best-selling product, but don't have the time to pursue that idea yourself, or don't have the facilities to hand? Or perhaps your scientific research has uncovered a promising possibility? We can take your ideas and investigate them further. Step-by-step we can work through your ideas with you, bringing them closer to marketability. Not all ideas work out, but we are willing to listen.
If you have more concrete plans, we can conduct investigations and tests of your technology. Design a prototype of demonstration system with you. If you are looking to attract venture capital funding, we can help to produce a system that looks and feels good (and in some cases can even recommend a funding agency to you).
If your work is more fundamental, we can
also assist in the early steps needed to secure a patent.
Design
and development
For projects closer to market, we can take a prototype or workable idea and turn it into either a demonstration system, or a full manufacturing package which could contain any of;
Rework
Sometimes you have an existing project and need to modernise its hardware or software. Perhaps you want to add extra capabilities to an existing system or improve the manufacturing process to reduce costs. We can advise on the likelihood of achieving this, and can take on the exsiting plans for rework if desired.
Appraisal
Maybe a contractor or a 'lone' worker has designed a system that works fine, but you are concerned about its robustness. We can conduct a survey of the system hardware and software to identify possible trouble spots, and recommend minor rework to cure any performance bottlenecks or error-prone areas of design. We can also help to advise on the manufacturability of a particulr system, and maybe ways in which a small redesign could substantially reduce costs whilst still meeting specifications. Overdesign, or underdesign - we can help with both extremes.
